The theme of this game came to me in a short poem I more just considered a cool sounding series of words at the time than anything meaningful. However, several days later, the poem still stuck in my mind in its entirety; I still have no idea why, as I still don’t think the words particularly mean anything together, but there was something there so I aimed to capture a bit of that vague but interesting mystery in exploring abstract aesthetics. Which is really just a roundabout way of saying I just wanted to make cool looking places.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Wander around and explore. If something sticks out it’s probably a distraction, and if something feels rather empty there’s probably something there. 2 of the 4 levels have a secondary secret(-ish) method of progressing. A disproportionate amount of work went into them instead of silly things like the overall game’s actual quality or cohesiveness (or sound (I'll fix that in a later update)) so please find them.

NOTES:

Currently there's a bug with the Winter level's rendering. Shadows don't seem to exist.

Hello! I would like to show this game at an exhibition sometime in early October, and was wondering if I could contact you personally to discuss some more details and get your permission. Twitter or email both work for me.

Hey Zachariah,
Having my game be exhibited sounds super interesting! I'd definitely want to hear about what kind of exhibit this is going to be. narthexaegis@gmail.com is probably the best way to reach me.

Thanks, I'll send further details soon.
